Our team is not your traditional feature team. Most teams have a very specific domain which results in a limited set of features and enhancements tied to that domain. Our team focuses on integrations with third party systems vital to our internal teams and business flows, covering projects and feature enhancements across multiple domains. We collaborate with our internal stakeholders to find efficiencies and automation that result in high ROIs; for example, improvements in UI and automation to reduce overhead and increase processing time of revenue generating operations. We are a metrics-based team that works on innovative and exciting projects, and are also heavily involved in a fundamental shift away from a legacy monolithic platform towards a globally distributed microservices based application; this brings exciting challenges to solve and new technologies to explore.
This role posting is focused on finding a candidate that has experience working within Salesforce. We are expanding our integration with Salesforce by adding features directly within that platform; this allows us to create specific flows that increase the accuracy and communication with our system. The candidate will need to have experience working with Salesforce’s own scripting language, APEX. In times where Salesforce integration is not Sprint's full focus, you will be working on the Team's other projects.
Build, own and maintain new innovative product features.
Collaborate with your teammates and engage in design discussions.
Implement varying solutions and products on the Force.com platform using its many tools.
Assist in the full support of our Force.com feature sets from application changes, upgrades, and new releases.
Enhance and improve on our Achievers integration with Salesforce along with other applications.
Lead, maintain and advocate for all Force.com / Achievers designs and implementations.
Apart from salesforce work, participate in multi-disciplinary projects.
Continuously integrate clean, scalable, robust, testable code
B.Sc. or Masters (preferred) in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of relevant development experience
Experience working on the Salesforce platforms
Experience with the Force.com platform (Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Component Framework)
Experience with Java and relational databases.
Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs along with experience building integrations with Salesforce.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Experience working with a multidiscipline team
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create technical design documents.
Proficient in Python, PHP, GO.
Experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Drone, Google PubSub, React/Redux, GraphQL.
Microservice Architecture experience.
Force.com Certified Developer Certification.
