Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce.com, including user setup, security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, groups, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
  • Prepare weekly reports and analysis including Pipeline, Forecast, Trends and Win/Loss
  • Train new and existing users on how to use Salesforce and related applications and provide ongoing technical support
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, application configuration and training materials for users
  • Create customized views, reports and dashboards for Sales, Finance, Upper Management and Marketing
  • Collaborate with Marketing Directors to understand business goals to help with the creation and improvements of marketing efforts through email marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for creating, executing, tracking and analyzing marketing campaigns using marketing automation tools
  • Create and manage custom objects, buttons, links, formulas, processes, triggers, workflow rules validation rules, Email Templates, Web-to-Lead and Assignment Rules
  • Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements to design, develop and configure customized solutions, identify inefficiencies and explore opportunities for automation
  • Recommend and implement enhancements, new features, functionality and tools to improve adoption and usability, and integration with other systems
  • Install and maintain third party integrated applications including development, testing and implementation
  • Data maintenance and hygiene. Regularly perform deduping and cleansing of data including documenting cleanup procedures.
  • Prepare data files and upload data into Salesforce.com using API data loader and 3rd party tools such as CRMfusion’s DemandTools
  • Conduct QA Tests on changes to Salesforce.com deployment including managing multiple sandbox instances
  • Stay current on new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements

  • Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources and to understand both business and technical topics and apply critical thinking skills to ensure reporting is accurate, meaningful and relevant
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to work well with multiple departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
  • Demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service

Minimum Qualifications

  • Salesforce.com certification required / Minimum of 5 years overall sf.comexperience
  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting Sales and Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience with Marketing Automation tools and platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline
  • Extensive experience with Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Work Flows, Approval Processes, Email Alerts, Field Updates, and Email generation
  • Experience with Pardot, ActOn and DemandTools
  • Hands on experience with Apex, Force.com Platform, and the AppExchange
  • Experience with use of the Salesforce.com APIs (via java, or through web services) to integrate Salesforce.com with other tools
  • Advanced Excel skills a must: Pivot tables & Charts
