Responsibilities

The Salesforce Administrator / Developer will assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of our Salesforce instance. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes to improve the overall use and function of Salesforce. This role is part administrator and part Salesforce developer. The Salesforce Administrator / Developer will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

  • Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 250+ users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, territory management, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Design, configure and administer Salesforce including, but not limited to, Apex code and supporting test classes, Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules and Visual Force Pages
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts about configuration, process, workflow and reporting
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Manage and developed customer-facing user interfaces
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user
  • Maintain Salesforce development ecosystem, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning, and Visualforce
  • The administrator will work closely with CRM Management team, functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes to improve the overall use and function of Salesforce

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Salesforce Admin/Advanced Certified Administrator credential.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification a plus
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Hands-on design and architect of custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, and application integration patterns.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Connect to call external API.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
