Overview

The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the Sales Operations team, specifically dedicated to ensuring that we are fully leveraging the features and benefits of Salesforce to support our various stakeholder teams.  Tactically they will develop process automation, reporting and workflows in Salesforce as well as manage integrations with 3rd party tools and applications.  Strategically they will work with various functional teams to identify & resolve business problems, provide insights through data analytics and ensure our Salesforce supports the company’s strategic goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary system administrator and point of contact for Continuum’s Salesforce.com instance
  • Build reports, dashboards & analytics to track performance and provide insights for stakeholders from front-line employees to the board of directors
  • Develop processes to import, cleanse & monitor the quality of data in our instance
  • Manage the underlying databasesupporting the Salesforce instance
  • Resolve ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Maintain and customize Salesforce.com scopes such as users, roles, profiles, groups, accounts, contacts, record types, sharing rules, custom objects, pick lists and page layout customization to support vital business functions
  • Create workflows, playbooks & training materials based on business requirements
  • Project manage process development and platform restructuring in Salesforce
  • Spearhead integrations, buildout & support of all 3rd party offerings, extensions, plugins or applications related to our Salesforce instance
  • Research, compare and enable 3rd party offerings using AppExchange
  • Monitor & increase team’s adoption rates by providing them with training sessions, communication and documentation as needed
  • Keep up-to-date on technology trends, development and best practices

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years Salesforce.com management experience
  • Extensive history of developing reports, dashboards, workflows & automated business processes
  • Ability to understand & communicate with front-end and back-end stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and back again
  • Experience with creating & maintaining integrations with external systems, applications & databases
  • Basic understanding of data modeling & architecture principles to collaborate with the BI team
  • Excellent organizational skills and strict attention to detail-oriented work
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills displaying the ability to visualize data to address abstract or open-ended questions.
