Acumen Solutions is currently hiring a Salesforce Administrator to join our team in our McLean, VA location.

Roles and Responsibilities

Acumen Solutions is looking to hire a Salesforce Administrator to support their internal Salesforce instance. The main goal of this role is to administer maintenance and deploy configuration changes for the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. This role reports to the CFO and partners with a satellite deployment team to resolve incidents as well as to field and deliver enhancements. This role interfaces directly with all departments in the business. Demonstrate in depth technical knowledge of Salesforce and its capabilities. The incoming administrator would have to take ownership of the instance with minimal oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of Salesforce administration for 700+ users

  • Owning all aspects of user management

  • Work closely with a deployment team to plan and execute releases

  • Chair a change advisory board to review internal projects and high-impact enhancement requests

  • Engage with all levels of the organization across all areas to gather requirements and implement solutions

  • Provide administrative duties updating/creating fields and page layouts, enforcing business processes (workflow, process builder, approval processes, validation rules), creating/maintaining custom objects, developing ad-hoc reports, and designing dashboards, staying up-to-date with new releases, and adhering to best practices

  • Administering FinancialForce PSA and FFA, JobScience, Litmos, and DocuSign

  • Mass transfer/re-assign records including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, et al.

  • Supports end users by troubleshooting and resolving incidents

  • Engage with the business areas as needed to work collaboratively on requirement gathering, and implementing solutions for approved enhancements/changes to ensure proper design and a satisfied customer.

  • Proactively recommend process improvements

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct experience administering Salesforce

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

  • Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification is required

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

  • Strong experience with Salesforce workflows, process builder, validation rules, Data Loader (or similar tool), reports, and dashboards

  • Fluency in Salesforce security and sharing model

  • Advanced Administrator Certification

  • Financialforce PSA

  • Hands-On Apex and Visualforce experience

  • Einstein Wave Analytics

  • SOQL/Workbench
