Quanterix is looking to hire a results-driven team player to represent its ultrasensitive Simoa platform (instrumentation, consumables, and services) for the life science research market.  This role will be responsible for the Texas US region selling across all research-use-only segments (pharma/biopharma, academia,government, and CROs).  The ideal candidate will come with experience and established relationships in the target markets.  He or she will be responsible for nurturing existing opportunities, building the pipeline for 2018, and executing on it.  This role requires familiarity with current immunoassay platforms and must be able to convincingly articulate the benefits of the Simoa technology.   This role will initially involve a strong component of team-based market/business development and technology evangelization.  The unique and revolutionary value proposition of the Simoa requires the person responsible for this role to be very comfortable prospecting new customers and successfully pitching the potential impact of Simoa to create initial interest.   Close collaboration with marketing, applications, and all internal departments expected. 


  • Minimum of BS or BA from accredited institution with major in biology, chemistry, or related fields
  • 10+ years sales experience in life science research tools and/or analytical instrumentation
  • Strong sales track record
  • Experience selling immunoassay instrumentation strongly preferred
  • Experience selling novel, ground-breaking technologies preferable
  • Conviction in the promise and value of Simoa
  • Team spirit, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and sense of humor required
  • Preferably based Massachusetts with access to the Boston/Cambridge area
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
