Job Summary:

Perform sales support related activities to optimize the sales outcomes of the supported sales force. Address and research clients’ questions and administration issues from MetLife sales force, producers, brokers, agents or prospect contacts; Facilitate resolution of their inquiries and issues typically via phone calls, correspondence or emails. Compile sales data or metrics from the sales force; Analyze, interpret and report out on sales results to guide business decisions; Maintain databases or oversee development of systems or tracking mechanisms to further enhance sales opportunities. Help develop and produce client proposals and presentations for producers. Develop, review, organize, and distribute marketing materials to facilitate effective competitive positioning of product line supported. Create and ensure overall strength and consistency of sales communications across supported sales organization.


Functional Responsibilities:

  • Attained a competent level of product knowledge and sales concept
  • Be able to handle clients’ issues professionally and independently
  • Think within substantially diversified, established procedures and standards
  • Subject to general supervision
  • Educate and update new and existing sales force on product features including underwriting and pricing guidelines
  • Prepare monthly sales reports to track firm performance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Life and Health License (able to get within 90 days)
  • 5+ years relevant business experience
