The individual in this role will be supporting the Middle Market Sales/Service team with the mission to ensure that the broker and plan sponsor has an overall positive experience of Aetna. Below is a summary of some of the duties that this individual will perform: - Collaborate with Account Executive and/or Account Manager to achieve growth/renewal objectives - Collaborate with sales and underwriting partners to develop the quote strategy- Assist sales team in developing internal and external presentations - Acts as liaison between Sales and the Implementation Unit. - Collaborate with team members on RFP and Renewal requests, case installation, open-enrollment, plan set-up and eligibility, billing and drafting - Assist Broker with sales and enrollment materials, SBCS/plan summaries - Assist in reviewing Salesforce and other internal systems for accuracy - Assist Brokers with Commission questions/updates, and licensing updates/renewals - Assist with other request including: claim issues and questions, copies of ID cards/Request new ID cards, and pull member ID list
- Must be a self starter who is highly organized.
- Able to work and learn independently while also acting as a team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able cover open enrollment meetings needed, as well as attend and participate in client and broker meetings.
- Must be comfortable multitasking and be adaptable and comfortable with change.
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Foundational understanding of health insurance is a plus
- Experience with salesforce.com is a plus.
- Health, Life and Accident insurance license a plus. Must become licensed within 90 days of hire.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
