The Top Line UNchained Labs is building the next cool life sciences tools company and needs high octane sales specialists to grow and sell its current and future products. We need people to roll up their sleeves, be courageous and clever, and create something special with us. We need a high-energy go-getter with a proven track record in sales to help our customers improve their experiments using our novel analytical products in their lab. The Job You will own the sales activities in your geographic territory for the Uncle, Hunky, Stunner, Big and Little Lunatic products, plus their associated consumables and service items. You will determine how to best achieve and exceed the quota for the territory, working with colleagues and field-based technical and support resources as needed. You will qualify leads, prospect based on your own network, and meet with customers to understand their R&D challenges. You will also provide business reviews and forecasts for the territory and collaborate with other go-to-market colleagues to ensure customer feedback is heard within the organization. Responsibilities
• Sell Unchained Labs analytical instruments in the assigned geography of MA, RI, NH, VT, ME
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain a high-level of technical knowledge for the Unchained Labs’s product line.
• Proactively generate new leads and opportunities, and quickly respond to marketing delivered leads.
• Develop key accounts within assigned territory.
• Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process.
• Update Salesforce CRM system regularly and provide weekly sales forecasts to Management
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Conduct pre-sales seminars, technical presentations, and instrument demos. Work with field application scientists as needed to dazzle the customer with our systems.
• Ideal location is in Boston area, other locations within the territory can be considered Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related science field
• 3-5 year’s sales experience in the life sciences tools industry selling laboratory instrumentation
• Demonstrated track record of sales performance and exceeding quota
• Travel up to 25% overnight when required
• Experience with MS Office applications and Salesforce databases is desired
