Sales Executive- Buys Side Markets- NYC  


 This role is for high energy sales executive with contacts in and the ability to generate new name sales in top Buy-Side firms. Culturally this person must be able to operate in a small company start up environment.


?   Manage the whole sales cycle - develop new business opportunities (client visits, prospecting, cold calling, proposals, closing, etc.).

?   Creation and timely execution of pipeline, senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, closing.

?   Work closely with other functions (consultants, client service specialists, sales operations, finance, legal etc) to ensure that all sales opportunities are managed appropriately, using business support tools as appropriate.

?   Maintain accurate SalesForce records of client opportunities, calls, visits, conversations, emails, Pipeline health and Forecasting, finalized contracts.

?   Proactively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development.

?   Provide feedback from clients to Marketing, Research and Product Development groups.

?   Attend relevant industry events.

Superior communication and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

?   Bachelor's Degree Required

?   5 + years of proven institutional sales experience in financial services/capital markets.

?   Strong sales closing skills and track record for exceeding sales targets.

?   Experience dealing with diverse client types (e.g. Quantitative Hedge Funds, Global Macro, Long Only Mgrs. and Relative Value Hedge Funds).

Must be have had a small company or start up experience, Someone with only experience and big named firms like Bloomberg , Thompson etc will not work 

$100K - $150K
$100K - $150K base, commission and equity bonus
