Lead the implementation of Veritiv’s Certified Manufacturing and High Performance Building Advisor strategy
Presents the Advisor positioning on a constant basis to current and perspective clients to help transform the position of Veritiv as a differentiated – value added supplier
Close new business and open new accounts in the manufacturing and property management and office channel
Utilizes training and communication techniques in order to execute the strategies, tactics and tools provided.
Conduct Facility and Building Audits/Events on a regular basis to assist clients with identifying opportunities to improve cleaning practices and employee and tenant satisfaction
Call on and meet with high level contacts within the manufacturing and property and/or management office while at the same time managing and building relationships with the cleaning and maintenance staff.
Build and develop key industry/customer contacts by networking and integrating within the local market industry associations and events on a regular basis (monthly at a minimum – mixers, trade shows, association meetings, etc.)
Drive sales of the private brands and Platinum & Preferred suppliers to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
Partner with suppliers in an effort to drive sales and improve supplier support
Present equipment as necessary as part of the Manufacturing and High Performance Building Advisor strategy and to ensure all clients source their equipment needs with Veritiv
Identify new opportunities, products and trends and communicate those back up to local sales manager
Applicant must be able to build quotes, manage credit, inventory, and pricing files, report activities to Sales Management, source products, manage customer databases, conduct daily sales report analysis
A competitive nature with an established track record in creating a portfolio of newly developed clients
Ability to interact effectively with a large number of internal and external customers, showing flexibility in meeting their individual needs
Professional, articulate and strong presentation skills
Understanding of finance and basic budget setting processes
Strong organizational and planning skills
Computer literate with Microsoft Office/ Outlook/ experience with SalesForce.com desirable
A vehicle and valid driver’s license is required
Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years working within the Property Management and Office industry with established relationships within the industry as well as PM Association organizations
Minimum 5 years in professional sales with demonstrated success selling in complex environments
