Growing building materials manufacturer is looking for an industry experienced sales representative. Will cover NC and SC, can live anywhere in those two states and work from a home office.

The Sales Representative serves as a single point of accountability for clients. He or She will actively manage all relationships with clients at the highest executive level and ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop market strategy for national and regional accounts designed to generate sales from new customers and maximize sales from existing customers

· Provide an annual and quarterly forecast of customer plans and purchases to facilitate company planning and budgeting of resources

  • Managing sales and growth for assigned accounts, achieving or exceeding sales targets for the assigned accounts
  • Open new accounts
  • Deliver budgeted revenue and margin across account base
  • Developing and coordinating sales strategy for the assigned accounts and new account development
  • Promoting the Value Proposition through presentations and communications
  • Engagement with Engineers and Operations Managers assigned to specific customers
  • Developing and understanding of the customer's requirements, business environment and strategy to ensure significantly higher revenues, accrued with increased customer satisfaction
  • Continuously monitor, analyze and report on competitive activities, new business opportunities, regulatory developments, customer perceptions and market needs
  • Identifying competition and competitive actions for the assigned accounts and communicate information to marketing and sales management

Education & Qualifications

Needs at least 3+ years of salesexperience in Building products with strong relationships with existing production builders

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Revenue growth and business development
  • Customer service experience when dealing with assigned medium to large accounts
  • Experience in facilitating and participating in account development plans
  • Management of medium and large contracts
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4year college or University highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good understanding of Client's business and how offerings complement each other to create a winning value proposition to address client needs
  • Good knowledge of Account Plan methodology
  • Strong knowledge of using sales processes and opportunity management
  • Good understanding of major components of financial management
  • Good understanding of legal implications and of the structure of contract with Client
  • Ability to consistently works to build credibility with the customer
