We are a specialty compounder that supplies engineered thermoplastic compounds and concentrates to injection molders and extruders in the form of pellets. These customers in turn mold this material into finished plastic parts for use in products spanning every major market segment.
The Sales Representative's key responsibilities include developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the division's products. This position is a field sales role that requires interfacing with the management group and product development as well as working closely with Customer Service Representatives and Manufacturing personnel in order to service existing customers and build new relationships.
? Developing new business prospects through cold-calling and other methods
? Developing and implementing selling strategies with customers
? Interacting with existing customers to increase sales of organization's products
? Interfacing with management group and product development to service existing customers and build new relationships
?Forecasting sales volumes based on current and historic order rates
Must have color background in the plastics industry.
