Our client is one of the leaders in surgical devices and they are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with experience in Laparoscopic, Hernia or General Surgery Device Sales.

Position Overview:

The company is willing to consider reps selling in Manhattan, Westchester County, close in New Jersey or Brooklyn, NY. At this time they are NOT WILLING TO CONSIDER Orthopedic or Spine Sales Reps.

The client prefers people with companies like: Ethicon, Covidien, Bard, Cook, Conmed, Atrium, etc. in their background. If you have worked for any of these companies or their competitors, we would like to speak w/ you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell the latest technology in Hernia Mesh and Staple Reinforcement Products to the Operating Room and General Surgeons.
  • Achieve the annual revenue targets.
  • Professionally introduce and represent the company to prospects, customers and partners.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts of bookings and revenue.
  • Maintain every customer as a reference account
  • Provide regular and meaningful insights to Senior Management and Marketing on market trends, product requirements and competition.
  • Be a good team player. Support your peers in developing a culture that likes to win, have fun and values mutual success. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degreepreferred or extensive experience selling Surgical Medical Devices
  • Must have 3 - 5years of surgical device with General Surgery experience somewhere in background. 
  • Must be selling surgeon preference products and be able to lead cases.
  • Ideal candidate will live in either Westchester County or in Manhattan. Close in New Jersey and Brooklyn based candidates will also be considered.

Base Salary:  $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 (DOE) + Company Car

On-Target-Earnings: $170,000 - $190,000.00 (NO Cap) + Full Expenses + Great Benefits + Equity + Upward Mobility

Locations: Manhattan, NY or close in New Jersey

Travel: 10%
