Our client provides industry-leading fiber optic products and services to clients around the world. Currently looking to hire Sales Trainees as the beginning of a career intended to lead to a Territory Sales Management position.
Spend approximately 24months learning the Customer Service processes, transitioning into a Customer Service Representative role and ultimately owning an Inside Sales territory. Sales Trainees are measured most heavily on how they manage and grow a funnel of opportunities and leads, and how successfully they convert opportunities to orders.
*** Create and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds sales targets.
*** Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
*** Develop accounts by checking customer buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
***Respond to Requests for Quotation and market leads, to include qualification of market leads, review of RFQ, product identification, review of existing agreements, and obtaining pricing and lead-time.
*** Managing all phases of customers open orders including processing customer purchase orders, expedites, periodically reviewing open order to identify and address issues, and communicating status to customer.
*** Process customer purchase or change orders by reviewing purchase order against quote, contract, or standard terms and conditions; resolving any discrepancies; creating sales order; supporting resolution of credit holds; reviewing sales order for accuracy; and sending acknowledgement to customer.
*** Manage customer quality issues, including Return Material Authorization requests and customer complaints.
