Sales/Program Manager

Lead

? Lead and manage all aspects of Account Management, primarily commercial in nature but retaining ultimate responsibility for 1) program success and 2) overall success of Client with assigned customer

? Manage all aspects of Program Management, particularly as defined by APQP development process. Serve as primary contact with customer Engineering for all PM-related issues

? Act as primary contact with customer purchasing departments

? Receive customer RFI, RFQ; communicate requirements to HQ, launch quote development process; develop RFQ timing plan and ensure all quote requirements are met on time

? Comply with client standard quote requirements, including all Terms & Conditions

? Solicit cost estimates; present strategic exceptions; quote with management approval

? Be responsible for developing internal timing in compliance with customer program timing requirements; ensure requirements and deadlines are communicated 1) locally to engineering, 2) to personnel connected to this program at HQ, 3) to plant and other personnel as required

? Hold regular meetings to measure progress; provide regular updates proactively to customer and to HS management and HS product development team (PDT)

? Ensure all customer and internal deadlines are being observed

? Global homeroom PM is responsible for ensuring regional PM timing complies with overall timing

? With input from HSD Engineering, develop and execute appropriate test and validation timing plans; ensure the organization is meeting deadlines; alert PDT and management of impending deadlines and endangered deadlines

? In consultation with HSD Engineering, develop and communicate timing for DFMEA, etc.

? Ensure APQP process is followed through SOP; ensure all customer APQP documentation is completed accurately and on time

? Lead product improvement planning to meet commercial aspect of customer Business Plan requirements. Work withEngineering and other departments to ensure timing of implementation meets customer Business Plan timing requirements

? Collect documentation internally for QRD, SRV (development assessment), 3660, PSO, PPAP, RnR (production approval); coordinate, merge, and communicate with customer to secure approval in customer system

? Coordinate with Materials Department to ensure timely approval of materials ? Coordinate with Quality and Engineering to secure Appearance approval

? Convey customer intelligence regarding future product direction to Engineering locally and at HQ where it can be considered in developing longterm technology roadmap and can be disseminated globally within HS R&A as appropriate

? Convey any intelligence regarding timing and program changes to organization

? Convey any intelligence regarding pricing and other competitive developments to organization

? Lead new business initiatives with assigned customer within North America and provide leadership to counterparts in other regions also working with the assigned customer
