My client is a global software company and are now looking for a BOSTON AREA based Sales Operations Specialist who will be responsible for supporting theInformatics sales leadership team by providing day to day sales operation support that will enable standard reporting and monitoring as well as analytical support. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing Salesforce.comreporting support and analysis
  • Providing CPQ (Salesforce.com's Configure, Price and Quote tool) reporting support and analysis
  • Act as the liaison between the Informatic Salesforce.com and CPQ users and the IT and Salesforce.com and CPQ application managers
  • Tracking and documenting weekly pipeline changes and providing analysis and insight regarding pipeline trends
  • Coordinating and organizing presentation materials for monthly, quarterly and year business reviews
  • Coordinating and organizing weekly forecast calls
  • Managing Performance Reporting Dashboards

Strategic Items:

  • Develop, analyze and interpret various reports
  • Performance reports
  • Pipeline Analysis
  • Marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Gather data, develop reports and analyze results in order to answer regular business, sales, financial and operational questions that come up on a daily basis
  • Partner with marketing to understand marketing campaign success and lead generation outcomes
  • Partner with finance to analyze cost of sales, return on investment for marketing spend, and productivity of pre-sales resources
  • Partner with Sales leadership to understand win / loss results and work with the Informatics product management team to identify root causes
  • Partner with finance on product and geography pricing and discounting analysis
  • Analyze sales funnel progression
  • Become a strong business partner with the sales organization, by understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by these organizations, and in turn proactively gathering information and providing insight and recommendations that will contribute to our success and enable us to better manage the business

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience working within a sales operations role
  • Experience working within a software company desired, but not required
  • Experience working in a large company with skills managing through a matrix environment.
  • Driven, proactive person with strong problem-solving skills that enable quick identification and efficient resolution of issues. Shows strong initiative and is able to escalate issues and involve other cross-functional teams to drive solutions to business challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Demonstrate technical capacity to understand sales tools (Web, database, CRM, Order Management, reports) and be able to effectively articulate technical information in an easily understood manner
  • Adept at Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Salesforce.comexperiencedesired, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and communicate business findings and conclusions

Salary

$80K - $100K
