Short Description

  • Provides operational support in the sales channel to support sales associates and managers in their Services revenue generation activities.
  • Uses available technology extensively (Salesforce, Excel, Access, Tabular, other data modeling tools) to create and automate existing Services business reports which translate existing data into actionable insights related to business opportunities or possible data gaps (presented in PowerPoint or PowerBI).
  • Responsible for implementing and/or managing new initiatives and business processes/opportunities that may involve coordination between the sales channel and other organizations, such as Marketing, Product Management, Business Services, and IT.
  • Responds to management’s queries with quick turnaround using available data to deliver valuable insights and data based recommendations.
  • Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: updating and distributing sales reports and analysis (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly); supporting analysis insights by supplementing reports with additional relevant data views (as needed); developing new reporting and analysis views (as needed); upgrading existing reports and analysis platforms to increase automation and democratize data (as needed); driving internal customer adoption of reports and analysis through a customer oriented focus including user training and seeking and implementing user feedback; working cross functionally to drive key sales initiatives; and other general operations management activities.
  • Position will require strong Excel and Salesforce.com skills, including the ability to export and manipulate large amounts of unformatted data. Role focus will include exporting, formatting, and summarizing data in Excel for weekly reviews. Work will also include pulling data to analyze through demonstrated statistical or financial modeling future trends. Experience in past services or finance roles a plus, working with Salesforce.com advantageous. Ability to follow existing processes, continually look for improvements, and hold appropriate owners accountable important.

  • Candidates should be enthusiastic, self-starters. Elements of the work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
  • Typically requires 5 - 8 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • This job may or may not have supervisory responsibility.
