JOB SUMMARY:


As a Sales Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Operations team by actively participating in and contributing to various strategic initiatives and projects. In this role you will also support the Customer Service team with herbal product-and ingredient-related communications. Your herbal knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally will be essential in assuring the success of these initiatives. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in sales operations, and with our products while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Customer Service Product Support: Assist with e-mails, and phone calls requesting information and education regarding Gaia Herbs products, traditional use of ingredients, modern scientific data supporting traditional use of ingredients, and any safety information while remaining DSHEA compliant. Report all Serious Adverse Events (SAE’s) and Adverse Events (AE’s) to SafetyCall in a timely manner.
  2. Wholesales/Employees portals: Execute site portal environment testing on all configuration, upgrade processes and manage promotions, items, and customer status.
  3. Customer Deductions: Collaborate with A/R to for key customer deductions by collecting information to resolve and/or submitting dispute paperwork.
  4. Sales Admin Support: Assist with new item paperwork, promotional paperwork, customer and non-customer facing portals.
  5. Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of various sales operations special projects aimed at optimizing sales processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall sales performance.
  6. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Handle various ad-hoc tasks and requests related to sales operations and special projects as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of sales operations, and customer service experience.

Advanced knowledge of the physiological impact of herbs, herbal interactions in the human body, and constituents of interest.

Experience working in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) strongly preferred.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis and presentation tools.

Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised.

Demonstrated project management, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Strong business acumen, with an ability to learn, understand, and translate into key business results.

Detail-oriented and operationally focused.

Up to 20% travel may be required.
