Supermicro’s Sales Team is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager responsible for successfully expanding Supermicro’s customer base in embedded market space. The Sales Manager also maintain the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermciro’s sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Developing business plans and sales strategies that ensures attainment of company sales goal and profitability
  • Initiating and managing the development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Maintaining revenue and order forecasts
  • Collaborating with internal Marketing Team in support of developing and implementing effective sales marketing plans
  • Researching industry related activities to anticipate market trends
  • Reviewing and monitoring the quality and integrity of delivery and post sales procedures
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Controlling expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Travelling to customer sites as needed
  • Manage Sales Administrator on assigned projects


  • BachelorDegree in a technical field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in general management or sales
  • Prior experience engaging embedded accounts, medical embedded accounts is desired
  • Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management
  • Process driven and able to understand and implement complex business processes
  • Self-motivated, results and revenue driven
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail, ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Prior supervisory experiencepreferred
  • Ability to travel, as needed
