Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative, diagnostic, results-focused solutions to customers, channel partners and company management. Seek out disruptive sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
  • Consult with customers to diagnose their evolving needs, build collaborative solutions and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that cover sales, revenue and expense controls.
  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Coordinating with Business and Application Development on lead generation.
  • Develop sales channels through customer networking, disruptive value solutions, product knowledge education and market segment focus.
  • Promote TeraMetrix and our products through strong relationships, consistent results and being the sales consultant of first choice.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in selling continuous and/or discrete industrial process measurement, quality and control solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline or related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Dedication to providing innovative "what if" solutions to assure first in class results.
  • Perseverant, optimistic disposition; willing to invest energy seeking creative solutions.
  • Track record of superior performance metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Able to travel up to two weeks per month.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce desirable.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills to present information and respond to questions from internal managers, clients, customers, etc.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
