Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative, diagnostic, results-focused solutions to customers, channel partners and company management. Seek out disruptive sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics.
- Consult with customers to diagnose their evolving needs, build collaborative solutions and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that cover sales, revenue and expense controls.
- Meeting planned sales goals.
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Coordinating with Business and Application Development on lead generation.
- Develop sales channels through customer networking, disruptive value solutions, product knowledge education and market segment focus.
- Promote TeraMetrix and our products through strong relationships, consistent results and being the sales consultant of first choice.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in selling continuous and/or discrete industrial process measurement, quality and control solutions.
- Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline or related field.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Dedication to providing innovative "what if" solutions to assure first in class results.
- Perseverant, optimistic disposition; willing to invest energy seeking creative solutions.
- Track record of superior performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Able to travel up to two weeks per month.
- Familiarity with Salesforce desirable.
- Proven oral and written communication skills to present information and respond to questions from internal managers, clients, customers, etc.
- Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
