Manages customer relationships to achieve sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory or account in a business to customer environment.

Sales Pipeline Management - Plans proactively for successful execution of account/territory-level sales strategies and plans based on current pipeline; evaluates pipeline health (size, contents, progress); adjusts sales strategy, plans, or high impact activities accordingly; as applicable coaches sellers in order to achieve sales objectives.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or equivalent industry experiencerequired.
3 - 5 years of relevant work experiencerequired.
This position is based out of our El Cajon service center and is a field sales position, selling Cummins engines, parts, service and allied products. Typical accounts are public and private trucking fleets, vocational, school bus, and transit fleets. Travel by car is required and typical car travel is 50% or greater. The successful candidate is a self-starter with a knowledge base and/or enthusiasm for engines or automobiles. Many hours in the day are spent working on your own to develop your account base and build solid account relationships.
