Our client company is a well-established provider of industrial parts, specifically they are a leader in fluid power and hydraulictechnology. The company prides themselves on being big enough to meet their customer’s needs but small enough to offer the customized solutions that today’s manufacturers require. In this newly created position due to growth you will lead a team of experienced sales people not only holding them accountable for their current production but also motivating them to achieve results maybe even beyond the sales person’s expectations. Your group will not only be working at increasing business from the company's already well established client base but also hunting for news business and exploring new marketplaces. That's where your expertise will come in, not only will you lead the group as mentioned previously but you will work with the sales team in developing strategies to capture new OEM customers to work with. Best yet, this is a fairly tight geographic territory and there won't be a ton of overnight travel!
The ideal sales manager will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree on Business or related field, MBA strong preferred
- 8 + years’ experienceselling manufactured or fabricated products
- 4+ years successful sales management experience
- Strong business skills including goal setting, financial management, and strategic planning.
