Our client is an innovative agriculture analytics company with a focus on water. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to promote and manage sales for the West Coast region of the United States. The ideal candidate is a passionate sales rep with a proven track record to develop, grow and manage a defined sales territory.
The successful candidate should have experiencewith direct sales to growers as well as sales through dealers. Sales expertise to vegetable producers, row crop, and berry growers is required. Our client will expand sales to Mexico in 2018 and this position is expected to take an active role in that expansion. This self-motivated individual will live in the sales region and will work out of a home office.
?3+ years of salesexperiencewithin the Ag Industry with irrigation, seed, fertilizer or crop protection
?Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
? Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills
? Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
? Ability to manage extensive travelschedule (up to 75% required)
? Strong organizational and time management skills
? Proposal generation and presentation according to guidelines
? Manage expense budgetwithin assigned geography
? Top level responsibility for account development and management in assigned geography
