Currently, we are looking for multiple full time Account Executives to join the Ottawa Business Development Team with a dedicated focus on our security solutions business. This sales professional will prospect, cultivate, and secure service sales opportunities within the local market utilizing recognized effective lead generation techniques.
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and close Security projects and associated service opportunities with strategic end-use customers in commercial, institutional and energy and industrial
markets.
• Develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Meet directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall sales process.
• Work with Sales team and Operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all Security solutions offered by Convergint
Technologies LTD.
• Conduct customer site walkthroughs and estimate both security system installations and service opportunities.
• Create market awareness for Convergint Technologies through networking, cold calling, presentations and attendance at local trade association meetings.
• Work strategically on targeted new construction projects with electrical and general contractors.
• Take a leadership role with select product partners in support of their business development activity.
• Construct and submit professional written proposals within established deadlines.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Security systems design and operation knowledge and a general understanding of building electrical systems and door hardware requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of Security Management Systems required
• Formal strategic selling or other type of professional sales training.
• 5 years sales or related experience within local market.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
