About this Role:

The individual will be an integral part of a Business Team with the main objectives being: Revenue Generation, Market Penetration, Membership Growth, Client Satisfaction, and extending the MagnaCare brand.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting sales goals
  • Responsible for prospecting, developing and executing sales strategies that result in new business growth
  • Responsible for the development of comprehensive sales plan to generate new leads, contacts and business opportunities
  • Develop strong broker and consultant relationships
  • Coordinates with pre-sale team all activity, including business analysis and evaluation, presentations, pre-sale follow-up, and contract negotiation
  • Average a minimum number of RFP?s a month, as determined by the President, Sales
  • Produce a minimum number of employee lives per year as determined by the President, Sales
  • Develop customized solution proposals crafted to address client needs and highlight MagnaCare?s capabilities
  • Lead client presentations using the appropriate team resources to win the business
  • Produce timely sales pipeline reporting
  • Effective use of time management
  • Attend and provide value to sales management meetings
  • Develop matrix partnerships within MagnaCare infrastructure
  • Utilizes a lead tracking system to administer and monitor prospects effectively
  • Develop productive relationships with prospects and peers
  • Develop marketing strategies, specific to assigned sales territory, to increase MagnaCare?s market penetration
  • Identifies appropriate target prospects through proactive market research and cold calling
  • Participate in promotional events/conferences and/or othermarketing/publicityevents and regular updates of your contacts in your marketing contact database
  • Work with implementation team on new business to ensure success
  • Is familiar with assigned territory/market segment, including competitors, demographics of prospects/provider community, and local issues
  • Responsible for performing any of the following activities on a daily basis: On-site appointments with presentations, managing the presentation preparation, telephone sales, proposal response preparation, prospecting and cold callingcontract negotiation, contract coordination, document management, internal and external resource management, activity and opportunity reporting/documentation, activity management, use of company sales process tools, account planning, and target account identification opportunity qualification
  • Exhibit the following characteristics; good attendance, personal initiative, team support, and working relationships with all other employees and withother departments throughout the company

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree or higher strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressively responsibleexperience in the areas of saleswithin the Group Health Industry
  • Self-Funding experience of employee benefits
  • Excellent knowledge of sales process to be responsible for developing and executing account penetration strategy within Sales team
  • Successful track record in group insurance sales
  • Excellent sales cycle management skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
  • Excellent technical product knowledge
  • Strong results orientation, entrepreneurial drive/innovativeness
  • People leadership/development skills
  • Ability to work remotely and manage inside salessupport resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and organizational skills
