Sales Executive - High Growth, Pharmacy Benefits Management, 78370
Our client is seeking a high level, self-motivated Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Sales Executive with a proven track record of sales success in the industry. The goal of the Sales Executive is to establish strong business relationships with Employer Groups, Third Party Administrators, Agents, and other Self-insured groups. This position will be key in developing sales strategy, while working to cultivate relationships to grow new business. The position will require nationwide travel so can be based from anywhere in the United States.
The successful candidate will be a hungry sales leader with strong verbal and written communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be committed to investing a significant portion of your time traveling to meet with decision makers, qualifying opportunities, analysing requests for proposals, creating presentations, presenting for group settings, and closing business with more than one decision maker. You will have a book of business at the ready and will be expected roll up your sleeves to get an account across the finish line. Our client is able to take on as much business as you are able to get in the door, with the ability to handle 100K lives as easily as 1K lives.

Identify viable prospects and secure meeting with key decision makers
Maintain up to date documentation of prospects and all sales activities
At close of sale, clearly be able to define terms of commitments to client for internal departments
Attend client and vendor meetings to generate sales and build relationships..
Responsible for follow-up on open meetings and outstanding quotes to close the deal.
Maintain open lines of communication with management, client base, vendor base, and co-workers.
Work with Sales, Quoting and Client Service staff members to encourage business growth, and personal development.
Work with Client Services Team to understand status of group’s performance and annual renewals.
Works with Quoting Department, Sales Department, and Marketing Department to assist on RFPs or other bids/proposals when necessary
Proactively keeps themselves educated on industry changes, trends, etc. and accurately represents this to client base and/or agent base
4 year college degree preferred
2-5 years sales experience in the healthcare industry; PBM industry a strong plus
In-depth knowledge of self-funded industry, products, services
Must be able to work flexible work hours when necessary
Willing to travel
Effective public speaking skills
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrate ability to use CRM system
Must be able to work extended hours and/or travel if necessary
Excellent work ethic and energy level
Solid time management abilities
Must be professional in appearance and manner
