The Sales Executive, Federal is responsible for Federal Government customers, with a concentration on Department of Defense Military Health System (MHS), targeting the Federal sector and the systems integrators that serve them, to generate sales revenue and ensure a productive and profitable business relationship.


• Directs sales strategy for the DoD, and federal accounts; prepares sales forecasts and related reports
• Acts as the principal liaison between InterSystems and federal accounts; develops and enhances business relationship by providing high levels of service and by encouraging contact with various organizational levels; develops and continuously updates account profiles
• Meets with DoD and Systems Integrators on a regular basis to provide information on features and benefits of InterSystems and its products, and to displace competitors
• Demonstrate InterSystems’ commitment to service by maintaining a high level of communication throughout all accounts
• Gains thorough knowledge of Government development goals in order to communicate them to InterSystems’ management; arranges regular meetings with representatives
• Utilizes internal resources to achieve sales objectives
• Provides feedback from customers regarding product performance; provides input to product development and support services for product fixes and enhancement
• Represents InterSystems at sales conferences to promote the Company’s products and services


• 8+ years of related salesexperience
• Demonstrated experience selling healthcare software solutions into federal government accounts
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Government and healthcare sales experience
• Prior experience selling into DoD

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
