Job Title: Sales Executive (Medical Device/Software)

Location: New Jersey or Chicago

Compensation: $100k – $120k

Sell our client’s software, services, and training within assigned accounts or territory and to targeted top-ranked Medical Device, Discrete Manufacturing and Electronics companies in the Industry Week 500.  Generate sales through personal contact, prospecting, business case justification, demonstrations, phone calls and written proposals.  Perform complete sales cycle activities from lead identification through contract negotiation, account transition to services, ongoing support and follow on sales.

Maintain relationships with existing customers within assigned accounts or territory. Serve as a liaison between all departments and the customer to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with all levels of customer contacts.

Job Specifics:

Close sales in assigned accounts or territory. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives

Negotiate contracts with customers

Identify new prospects and business opportunities

Assess customer needs and qualify sales opportunities

Prepare and present proposals to customers

Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients at executive levels

 Accurately forecast software, professional services and training opportunity on a quarterly basis

Enter all activities and track all customer related issues in CRM database

Prepare and present Territory Plans, Account Plans and Opportunity Reviews

A thorough understanding of the target market and functional business activity is expected

Demonstrate customer-specific benefits of solutions with a high degree of proficiency

Analyze and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate and evolve strategies based on these changes

Work closely with our Solutions Consulting team to coordinate product demonstrations and workshops for perspective clients

Travel to customer sites to conduct sales activities

Coordinate customer support and Professional Services issues

Serve as a point of contact with customers and members of the Product Support, R&D and QA departments to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate:  

Minimum of 10years’ experience selling enterprise software solutions to large corporations and preferably to companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device.
