VISION: Global manufacturer who develops innovative software technology/capital equipment is expanding the restaurant industry business unit team. Headquartered in CT with operations in North America, Europe and Far East this expansionary hire will support the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Managers. Provide technical product knowledge to the sales force ensuring double digit annual growth opportunities! This product enables restaurants to enhance her back room operations reducing labor costs, RM usage as well as ensuring compliance requirements and food safety.
OPPORTUNITY:Report to VP of Global Sales with responsibility for providing technical pre- and post-sales support for new and existing products in the Food Safety Restaurant segment. Serve as the technical ?go to? person for the sales team and customers as you gather customer requirements and develop the necessary applications and design inputs for customer presentation. Present with sales leadership to Fortune 1000 clients a product technical overview, evaluation, test-store phase and full-scale, and roll-out usage of products.
Pre-Sales Process entails:
? Assist sales force in technical product presentation to customers & evaluate client customizations requirements.
? Assist customers with understanding product setup, installation, documentation, end-user training while coordinating with sales and engineering.
? Develop comprehensive product knowledge to troubleshoot product issues with R&D.
Post-Sales Process entails:
? Work with Sales, Technical Support and customers to resolve customer product needs and technology customization during customer visits.
? Coordinate all tasks between Product Development, R&D, customers and engineering. Train technical support team.
? Document all customer interactions and follow-ups into CRM system.
? Resolve technical issues and customer enhancement requests with R&D/Product Development.
? Improve customer experience by streamlining the sharing of information with the Customer Success Engineers and Sales Support.
REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS required in a technical field with 5+ years? experience. Knowledge of software development, software test and debugging, computer programming, systems integration and analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills, organization and planning is key. Ability to travel up to 60%. Role is based at CT Headquarters but living in CT or a New England state is a possibility.
REWARD: Salary $85,000-95,000 (DOE) plus 10% bonus and excellent benefits package. Great promotion history!
