Sales Engineer Summary

In this role, you develop elite accounts. Parchem?s Sales Engineers are given the highest level of responsibility ? you have an excellent understanding of your industry, develop high-level clients and grow strategic relationships with Parchem entities. You are a fit if you are experienced, dynamic, self-motivated and disciplined with a strong ability to manage complex projects and contribute to a team.

Sales Engineer General Responsibilities

?        Nurture, acquire, retain, manage and grow a business portfolio

?        Enhance your expertise in a focused chemical industry sector

?        Conduct market research, stay on top of trends, and sell fine and specialty raw material within a targeted industry

?        Qualify hot leads

?        Convert qualified leads into sales

?        Anticipate customer demand and purchasing patterns to drive sales

?        Build, negotiate, and heighten relationships with vendors

?        Meet deadlines and respond to business needs in a preemptive and professionally persistent manner

?        Inside sales

?        Outside sales

Sales Engineer General Requirements

?        BS/BA Degree

?        3+ years of experience in raw material and/or chemicalsales, marketing, purchasing or supply chain

?        Experience conducting business over the phone with exemplary verbal and written communication skills

?        Excellent ability to prioritize work while maintaining careful attention to detail

?        Motivation to succeed and contribute to the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company
