Our client has been the leading designer and manufacturer of custom power supplies for the military and aerospace markets for over 3 decades. Naviga has been retained to recruit a Sales Engineer to join their team.

Location: Houston, TX or Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Office: Remote – work from home office

• New position developed due to untapped potential in Midwest – West markets

• Dedicated SalesSupport Representative

• Own and manage your schedule – no micromanagement

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer inquiries of company products and assisting in the selection of the correct product for their application

• Interface between the technical design group and customer development engineers

• Travel to client sites throughout the Midwest and West to present and demonstrate products in a laboratory or presentation environment

Requirements:

• Sales Engineerexperience with expertise in electrical/electronic power conduction applications

• Field experience with an understanding of the TX market

• Knowledge of customer end applications, military standards, and the understanding of various power devices is essential

• Knowledge of power electronics, AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC converters, EMI Filters, Generator Control Units, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, and Power Distribution Units

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in power supply design or application

• Power Circuit design, conversion of power from military platforms to subsystems, generator control, and battery back-up systems

Education:

Bachelor’s Degreerequired, Bachelor of Science in ElectricalEngineeringpreferred

• Ability and willingness to travel

Territory:

Midwest – West US

Travel:

Approximately, 25% overnight travel per month
