My client are an exceptional pre-IPO SIEM start-up in the early stages of their company life. They have grown rapidly since their creation 2 years ago, with an exceptional management and Board including pioneers within the SIEM space. Recognised by Gartner as a leader in the emerging Security Operations, Analytics, and Reporting space. Due to recent funding they’re looking to grow their team across the US.
The Sales Engineer position will see you join a small but growing team in the US. You will be responsible for supporting the sales activities across the US, covering all aspects of the pre-sales functions. Your role will be key to the success of this growing organisation as you will at times have to represent the company without the sales individual present. You will need to be able to roll up your sleeves and get deep into the technology, but not forgetting that you have a commercial role to play. You will be based in Texas, the South East US, or California and need to work from home when not on client site.
The successful candidate will be experienced within the security sector having spent at 10 years of their career involved in the sector. You will have an excellent understanding of SIEM / Analytics / Incident Response, and be very comfortable giving demonstrations and talking technically around the technology. Key to this role is the understanding of what a day in the life of a SOC analyst looks like, the tools they use, how they investigate etc. This role will require you to be comfortable in both the technical and commercial aspects of the role, as you will be working on your own when not with a sales colleague. You will be based in Texas, the South East US, or California, and happy to travel across the US when needed.
