We are currently seeking a cybersecurity sales professional, residing in the NY Tri State Area, to manage and drive sales engagements into enterprise accounts within our Northeast territory. The territory is the home base of >700 Headquartered Companies who conduct application and infrastructure penetration testing and we want to be their partner for that service. This role will require territory development of new pipeline and successful deal negotiations. In this position, you will play a key role in navigating complex accounts in order to generate and deliver winning proposals, contract bids, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Acquire and manage accounts within your region
  • Attain quarterly and annual goals and quota targets
  • Manage prospect/customer evaluations, proof of concepts, and any RFP/RFIs
  • Communicate and deliver the value of Synack’s offering
  • Present effectively and articulately to C level executives and other key stakeholders
  • Enter real-time, accurate forecasts in SFDC
  • Travel within the territory to manage and nurture accounts

Here’s what you need:

  • 5+ years of above quota sales experience in a SaaS and/or Security environment
  • Direct selling expertise with a 'hunter' mentality
  • Prior experience selling within the security industry
  • Self-motivated to deliver above sales goals
  • A proactive and constructive style of engagement with executive business partners
  • To be a self directed individual who has the ability to adapt quickly and execute on customer asks and/or business needs
  • Exceptional writing skills and a knack for conveying an engaging and inspiring tone through your words
  • Strong presentation skills both internally and externally
