Position Overview

The Sales Director has the overall sales and business development responsibility for the defined region (US Market) within the group.

SD will be responsible for profitable business development within the region, achieving sales targets and further growing the business. Manage and coordinate all sales activities of the region including leadership of the account managers. Contribute to and implement the regional sales and marketing strategy in line with the business unit and group strategy. Furthermore, SD will be responsible for high level customer relationship management and will be involved in contract negotiations and escalations, where necessary

Responsibilities

    Direct sales staff, including organizational structure, professional development, motivation, performance evaluation, discipline, compensation, personnel policies, and procedures
    Identify Business Development activities with new and existing customers
    Build customer relationships
    Identify new sales opportunities
    Manage budget

Requirements

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    Minimum 10 years selling of PCB's directly to customers in US market

*  Output:        In depth market and industry knowledge, with a track record of success in cultivating contacts with decision makers within both multinational and domestic major OEMs and EMS's

*  Output:        Skilled in conducting face-to-face presentations to customers, negotiating, closing sales and account management

    Experience managing and leading sales team
    Experience working for a European company
    Experience working in a matrix organization
