Description

As our Programmatic Data Sales Director you will be responsible for upselling, new business development and sales whilst partnering with agencies, programmatic trade desks and the client. You will educate and evangelize agencies, programmatic trade desks and end clients on the benefits, offerings and products that our data provides to answer key media and marketing questions surrounding behaviors and predictive analytics  

We are the global leader in audience data with 2 billion unique audience profiles and we need you to drive the growth of our presence in the United States. (This is currently an individual contributor role, but as we grow, the team will grow and this person will be looked at to manage the sales team)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience                      
  • 10+ years’ experience in media sales, audience data sales or data sales
  • Current connections/relationships with digital publishers, publisher/data acquisition, ad network, SSP, DMP, exchange, and media agencies
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
  • Cold calling & lead chasing experience is required and a big part of the role
  • Knowledge of online media business, audience targeting, programmatic buying and real time bidding                 
  • Existing knowledge of DSP space, ad serving and programmatic advertising is preferred but not a requirement
  • Strong understanding of online advertising technologies and landscape trends
     

Day-to-Day Life:

  • Secure data provider partnerships with publishers, website owners, e-commerce businesses, programmatic trade desks, data providers, agencies and offline data owners
  • Develop relationships with key players in the programmatic advertising space in US (e.g. DSPs, DMPs, agency trading desks)
  • Manage data partner recruitment process from lead identification through to contract completion.
  • Identify publisher/website leads with the potential to provide these audience segments.
  • Engage and work with publishers/website owners to educate them about audience data and the Audience Data Marketplace.
  • Identify key publishers/website owners and build relationships with a view to further partnership development long term.
  • Engage with the programmatic advertising buying community to understand the needs in the US market for audience data and to promote  audience data solutions
  • Collaborate and consult with major customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing client and agency base, and optimizing their advertising expenditures
