In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead a high-functioning Philips Ventilation Solutions sales team that adheres to all policies and procedures and maximizes sales. Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction meets or exceeds expectations. You will be responsible for leading the southwest region of the US.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Align the Market Sales Strategies with region and national Sales Strategy between the Hospital Respiratory care business and the home ventilation business in Sleep and Respiratory care.
  • Tie off Market and Sales strategies to ensure an integrated view and proper balance of Account Manager, sales Specialists and clinical specialist resources to support the selling activity.
  • Work closely with Region Sales Manager and Sr. Account Executive to support account strategies for their respective product line.
  • Work closely with Region Sales Manager and Sr. Account Executive to determine proper resource allocation to close deals.
  • Ensure that the Account Managers team has the tools necessary to bring clinical and technical knowledge and solutions to the customer.
  • Ensure that the Specialists supports the sales team particularly emphasizing solution definition, competitive/clinical positioning and
    pricing strategies.
  • Coach Account Managers in solution design and differentiation and positioning Philips to win VOC.
  • Ensure the team is skilled at understanding Customers business needs to provide well designed solutions and provide AM/AE with
    add on sales ideas.
  • Monitor team and individual’s performance against business goals and metrics.
  • Coach Account Managers to partner with the AM/AE in designing and delivering solutions that meet the customers’ expectations.
  • Ensure customer issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Leverage product expertise to provide the AM/AE with account specific solutions to the customers’ business needs.

  • Strong internal network to support the efficient delivery of value to our customers, execute deals and resolve customer issues.
  • Maximize the customer experience by teaming up and presenting a One Philips approach to the customer.
  • Initiate collaboration with internal partners to validate and execute the Sales Strategy.
  • Create partnership to share knowledge across BU, Clinical Science, and Corporate Research.
  • Ensure an effective collaboration process between AM/AE and the Sales Specialist during the sales process.
  • Work cross-functionally with Region Sales Managers and other Philips Sales Teams

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 5 + years sales management/sales leadership experience, highly preferred.
  • Hospital Respiratory Sales background, preferred
  • College degree or equivalent experience. Post-graduate degree or equivalent experiencepreferred.
  • Knowledge of operations management, business analysis, personnel management, customer management, sales process/management.
  • Experience leading account teams and selling to accounts that can produce large sales volumes and/or market share growth.
  • Experience selling into accounts that are characterized by a complex sales cycle with multiple decision makers
  • Engaging the interest of the customer and draw them into meaningful, in-depth conversations
  • Educating the customer, not only about the sales organization's products and services, but also about industry trends and business issues
  • Enlightening the customer about new possibilities, and act as a catalyst for innovative ideas
