My client are a Pre-IPO vendor who are a market leader within their space. Having been recognised as a challenger by Gartner, they’re now classed as a Leader and have been identified as one of the fastest growing Cyber Security companies in the world. Fresh of the back of significant funding to continue their growth, they have continued to innovate in this market and now stand alone as the best in class solution.
The role will see you take on an already successful area, due to someone leaving the business at the end of the year. New York is a key area for my client and you will be tasked with winning new business within the region. You will target the CISO's at enterprise organisations through various methods, but you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle. The deal sizes are in excess of $300k and can take up to a year to close, but the average is around 4 months. The location for this role is New York, but you will sometimes have to travel to other areas in the North East when needed.
The successful candidate will be a new business hunter based in the New York region. You'll have a strong background in cybersecurity, or in the GRC space, to enable you to hit the ground running regarding understanding the technology and how to position it. A key focus for this role is a network of CISO contacts in enterprise organisations in the region that you can utilise quickly. There is a lot of opportunity to over-achieve in this role so you'll need to have overachieved on your number for at least 2 of the last 3 years, having sold deals around the $300k mark.
