We're looking for a technically savvy, customer service oriented sales Leader who can balance rapid delivery with accurate results to consistently meet Curvature's world-class standards. The Sales Director's responsibility is to manage and lead a team of ambitious sales professionals for a fast-growing company that rewards self-direction, celebrates innovation, and bends the trajectory of an industry in favor of our clients. The Sales Director's responsibility is to oversee and assist the team in uncovering new business opportunities as well as managing existing customer relationships. This role will be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base in an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach with the goal of finding opportunities and turning them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Effectively forecast a sales pipeline and manage a sales process to quota attainment for sales team
  • Coach & Mentor a geographically dispersed Sales Team
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead development to securing a deal
  • Prospect new sales opportunities as well as manage existing relationships through networking and develop long term partnerships
  • Present products to prospective clients
  • Oversee and provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers' dedication
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve issues promoting customer retention
  • Negotiate agreements and maintain accurate data and client records

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Sales with demonstrated success achieving and exceeding quota including prior experience in the IT industry
  • Minimum 3 yrs. management or equivalent demonstrated leadership within accounts including significant experience planning & executing sales strategy and business development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • MBA in Business Management preferred
  • Strong knowledge of market research and sales strategies
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate into tactical and executable strategy
  • Strength as a coach, leader and mentor including recruiting, training and managing a Sales team to success
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to present at the Executive level
  • Strong knowledge of business applications including MS Office and CRM software (ex. Salesforce)
  • Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively handle a heavy workload, prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot systems-related issues
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level and drive alignment by influencing business partners, senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with internal as well as external stakeholders
