We are looking for an Experienced Sales Leader to join our team!

 

 

Job Specifics:

 

Sell and provide solutions within Bulk Commodities, Intermodal & Tank Truck services and solutions

 

Successfully penetrate new accounts

 

Manage and develop new business from existing account base

 

Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives

 

Build and maintain executive level relationships with strategic clients to create win-win solutions in a consultative manner

 

Specify critical resource needs from prospective clients required to meet business objectives

 

Cross Selling - Ability to identify opportunities for other Business Solutions and coordinate sales efforts to secure additional business

 

Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings

 

Design, present and execute a sales strategy plan, including milestones to implement identified sales strategies. Continuously track plans and milestones

 

Maintain regular contact with BU leaders to coordinate target accounts

Work with Global Solutions, Sales, BU Leaders, Client Services, Procurement, Operations, and IT teams to deliver world class solutions to client’s opportunities

 

Actively negotiate with key stakeholders and functional counterparts to obtain required approvals and resources

 

 

The Ideal Candidate:  

10+ years’ relevant salesexperience in supply chain, transportation and logistics solutions

 

5+  years’ experience proven major account salesexperience in bulk truck and chemical tank services

Clear understanding of TMS and supply chain technology

 

Knowledge of logistics/supply chain/IT terminology, vendors, and suppliers

 

Expert knowledge of sales cycle, from initial prospecting through closing

Ability to prepare pricing and financial proposals for existing accounts and for new business opportunities

Basic understanding of contract negotiations with both clients and legal counsel

BA/BS Degree in technical field

Strong relationship management skills, with proven results in generating business growth

Knowledge of Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel and otherMS Office products, a must

Ability to travel up to 60% required
