The Sales Development/Inside Sales Manager is responsible for growing and managing a team responsible for aggressively generating qualified leads for the field sales team. They will also interact with marketing and field sales as a key member of the management team. This is a hands on position developing talent that will eventually go into the field.
- Lead and take ownership of entire sales development/inside sales process
- Formalize and document process
- Develop key measurements and KPI?s
- Hire, train, mentor and coach sales development/inside sales reps
- Interact as part of sales and marketing management team
Requirements & Skills
- BA/BS from top tier college/university.
- Experience in managing a sales development/inside sales organization in a software company
- Strong leadership experience
- Consistent record of achievement- hitting and exceeding quota
- Intelligent, motivated and competitive
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable).
- Organized and process driven.
