Summary:

The Sales Content and Communications Manager drives and executes the strategy to communicate needed information to the Revenue Organization and elevate Revenue messages to the broader company. This person also owns the Sales content ecosystem, ensuring that Revenue Team members can easily find and access the content and information needed to perform at a high level. Successful candidates must be able to think strategically and communicate and collaborate well across functional boundaries and leadership levels. Excellent writing and communication skills as well as a good understand of the sales mentality are critical. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the cadence of communication to inform, motivate and improve performance of Revenue Team members
  • Communicate Revenue Organization strategy and results to the broader company
  • Build and manage the Sales content ecosystem, including the Sales Intranet, to ensure Revenue Team members can easily access the information and assets needed to accelerate the sales process and meet performance targets
  • Consult and connect regularly with cross-functional partners and leaders to collect, filter, refine and disseminate relevant information for the Revenue Team
  • Initiate, draft and publish a regular cadence of communications from the Chief Revenue Organization to the Revenue Team, ensuring timely and relevant messages are communicated in an authentic voice
  • Identify and prioritize needs for additional content for use by Revenue Team members
  • Draft new content pieces individually as well as collaborate with other content creators to deliver needed documents and assets

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to craft concise, targeted messages to inform, promote, persuade and motivate
  • Experience organizing and creating easy and intuitive navigation structures for large and diverse collections of content
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across functional groups and leadership levels
  • Strategic thinker who can lead complex projects, navigate through ambiguity and execute a detailed plan
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience creating instructional documentation
  • High degree of organization and detail-orientation
  • Strong working knowledge of sales culture and mindset
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and work with autonomy as well as collaboratively while driving projects to successful implementation
  • Strong sense of teamwork, positive attitude and results-orientation
  • Strong computer competence and familiarity with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and basic content authoring and production tools
  • 3-5 years proven success in a sales-focused content and communications role highly desirable
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
