You will call on senior level executives across targeted companies to sell the full suite of solutions for world-class sales process development, sales methodology training and consulting services. Sales Consultants must possess exceptional sales and process discipline, and business acumen to be considered for this role. As a Sales Consultant, you will be viewed as a trusted advisor by your customers and all you do will contribute to this relation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account and Business Development Planning to prioritize opportunities and build a pursuit strategy into clients / prospects. Focus on expansion of existing accounts into new Divisions or new areas of competency.

  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in maximizing the impact of marketing activities and other initiatives to build a pipeline to support assigned revenue goals and quota.

  • Generate sales and build long term relationships in assigned accounts/portfolio through the development of senior and 'C' level, relationships in client and prospect organizations.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry trends and issues facing a client's sector. Have a clear and detailed approach to prospecting an account prior to initial senior level contact.

  • Demonstrate an ability to engage 'C' level executives in a strategic business dialogue to uncover client/prospect needs.

  • Demonstrate a clear link between capabilities and the issues faced by the client/prospect. Engage internal resources appropriately in the sales process to secure and expand the sale.

  • Working on your own and with team members, build and deliver sophisticated messaging and presentations to prospects demonstrating the solutions and capabilities

  • Demonstrate an advanced skill level in the negotiation of complex client agreements which deliver required profit margins and ensure customer success.

  • Retain overall responsibility for the customer success and profitability of each client account through the account life cycle.

  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals, targets and quota. Focus primarily on developing large accounts.

  • Fully utilize all requiredreporting systems, including SalesForce.com and other pipeline tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Experience/

Environment:

5-7 Years of complex business to business (B2B) sales experience with emphasis on selling sophisticated intangible services to leading corporations.

Demonstrable significant successes in selling to new accounts as well as expansion of existing accounts. Track record of consistent quota attainment / overachievement

Evidence that a candidate has seen enough different business scenarios to be a convincing professional, and understand business challenges.

Education:

Bachelor's degreerequired. Advanced degree in business is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Strong verbal communication, presentation and written skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills; extensive knowledge of business/economic environment; forecasting skills; strong customer-centered selling skills. Ability to present and defend point of view constructively and persuasively. Adept in the use of salesforce automation tools and Microsoft Office applications to communicate ideas, concepts, proposals and solutions.

Salary

$200K - $260K
