Sales and Channel Enablement Manager

Arbor Networks, a leader in securing the world's most complex networks from DDoS attacks and advanced threats, is searching for the right person to help execute our global training & enablement strategy for our sales team and channel partner. The perfect candidate has a dynamic personality with excellent presentation skills and comes with knowledge of networksecurity. This position is based in Boston and reports into the Director of Sales and Channel Enablement.


  • Facilitate new hire sales and channel on-boarding process working closely with sales, channel and marketing stakeholders
  • Design and execute an off-line sales training and certification system for Account Managers and Channel partners working with the Arbor training group and CE teams
  • Manage on-going product/process training via online web-based seminars working with Product Marketing and Product Management
  • Promote Challenger sales methodology as part of new hire training and on-going training of sales methodology throughout the organization
  • Support global sales communications strategy including training and on-going content management within portal
  • Provide guidance to Product Marketing so that they can develop sales tools such as playbooks and toolkits
  • Work closely with channel management to ensure successful enablement of partners
  • Report on key metrics that show the productivity improvements and satisfaction with sales enablement programs
  • Facilitate feedback from sales and channel partners and incorporate into enablement plans

Qualifications – External

  • 5 +years of Sales Training or Product Marketing experience with focus on sales and channel enablement
  • Extensive project and program management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressured, fast paced environment
  • Additional tools required for success include working knowledge of Challenger Sales Framework and Kapost Content Management or similar project and content management tool
  • Proven ability to facilitate live instructor-led sales training (on product, process, or skills related training topics)
  • Global experience tailoring and scheduling programs and initiatives, including travel as needed
  • Proven ability to partner with and earn the trust of sales and channel
  • Proactive and self-directed: Must be able to define and scope new initiatives with minimal guidance based on field input and relevant field data
  • Dynamic and proven presentation & written communication skills a must
