Job Description

The Sales Area Manager (SAM) is responsible for leveraging existing or seek out new relationships between the company and potential marque clients. The goal of the SAM is to foster and maximize long term revenue opportunities by becoming trusted advisor to the client and strengthening their loyalty to the company. They must work collaboratively with assigned BD team and local MNS operational teams in an effort to build MNS market share of marque client business within the designated market.

*This opportunity affords the candidate to work 100% remote.  Candidate's home location can be flexible within the Pacific Northwest.**

  • Leverage or build relationships with marque client decision makers at the market level who make or influence purchasing decisions, which typically includes but not limited to market Construction Managers and Implementation Managers

  • Act as primary contact with market level marque customers and prospects and MNS Sales and operations teams

  • Work with clients to help them improve business performance and profitability

  • Work with clients to help overcome issues of price and create strong barriers to competition

  • Design and implement sales plans to achieve the company’s sales goals

  • Develop and execute a plan that will identify and pursue sales leads and prospective clients

  • Present account plans to the senior management team to gain approval and commitment

  • Collaborate with MNS operations departments in creating a cost?effective marketing strategy to acquire major sales opportunities

  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions

  • Build and maintain customer relationships for the region

  • Take on special assignments as requested

  • Forecast sales on a monthly basis, and collaborate with operations team to forecast associated resources.

  • Monitor and analyze competitive activities to assess any threat to important clients

  • Ability to use their account knowledge to set revenue targets and identify the resources needed to meet them.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing or Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience within the wireless industry

  • Sales driven with hunter mentality

  • Big picture long-term vision mind set

  • Documented market client relationships

  • Entrepreneur attitude

  • Team player but self-motivated and self-directed while working independently accomplishing assigned goals

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, written and verbal skills

  • Excellent planning and analytical skills

  • Working experience of Sales Force CRM
