Job Description

The Opportunity | Sales and Marketing Manager

Curtiss-Wright Plant Performance and Information Solutions divisions currently have significant installed base in nuclear power and a niche installed base with significant growth potential in other industrial markets.

 

Role can be based at Division Headquarters in Brea, CA or at the Information Solutions office in Clearwater, FL.

 

This position is responsible for growth in our plant performance software and information product lines. This role will lead our efforts in development and implementation of:

  • Product marketing campaigns
  • Global sales channel expansion
  • Customer alliance relationships
  • Training programs for direct sales and representatives
  • Support programs for growing Value Added Reseller and customer alliance network
  • Aftermarket license and subscription renewal programs

 

Major Accountabilities /Deliverables

  • Achievement of annual new order budgets and growth objectives in line with the division Digitalization strategy and associated product lines
  • Management, support, and training of third party representatives, resellers, and a small team of direct resources. The direct team is anticipated to grow with business volume.
  • Market Analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy, determine training requirements, and promote sales.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinate with shared direct account management teams in nuclear and fossil power markets, with shared and subcontracted communications (marcom) resources, and with product development and engineering teams on customer requirements and product development priorities
  • Establish and maintains close personal contact with top echelon customers and attend a variety of conferences and other external meetings to explore sales opportunities and understand market trends.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering degree
  • 5 -- 10 years sales management experience
  • Software and information B2B sales experience, preferably within the power industry (non-nuclear)
  • Experience with sales channels in international markets
  • Experience in management and support of direct sales employees, third party representative, and value added resellers
  • Experience with development and implementation of product training programs for sales teams and customers
  • Experience in development and implementation of product marketing campaigns
  • 5 -- 10 years sales management experience
  • Software and information B2B sales experience, preferably within the power industry (non-nuclear)
  • Experience in management and support of direct sales employees, third party representative, and value added resellers
  • Experience with development and implementation of product training programs for sales teams and customers
  • Experience in development and implementation of product marketing campaigns

 

Significant travel of approximately 50% will be required
