About the Role: The MPD Provider Analyst will partner with the Provider Sales Team to manage the relationship with the Providers and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) to enable the sales process and enhance the customer experience, as well as develop and deploy sales and pricing agreement analytics for all product lines across the Gore Medical Products Division. Additionally responsible for supporting contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition, fulfillment, and compliance in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Also responsible for providing the Provider Sales Organization with analysis associated with key account sales performance, account opportunity and supply chain program effectiveness.


  • Working cross-functionally with Gore Medical Product Specialists, Brand Managers, Category Leaders, Sales and Sales Operations to support business needs
  • Providing sales, pricing and opportunity analytics to support the Provider Sales Team for customer reviews and contract negotiations
  • Collaborating with the Provider Sales Team to provide pricing scenarios and agreement programs in line with divisional pricing strategies as well as sales growth and/or profitability goals, and to ensure they have the key information to manage and support the relationship with their customers
  • Collaborating across the Sales and Marketing Analytics team to ensure key provider account data is centrally available, ensuring data integrity, while using advanced visualization tools to analyze provider and GPO information to identify sales and profit improvement opportunities
  • Providing pricing agreement analyses to determine the overall effectiveness of the pricing and program strategies used within key agreements
  • Defining and maintaining processes that will identify and address when a price is outside of the current pricing strategy
  • Participating on cross-functional teams bringing an enhanced understanding of available data, analyses, and systems
  • Maintaining the data quality and integrity of the Director territory alignment; ensuring optimal alignment to each Director
  • Developing business requirements for new automated provider reports and maintaining existing reports
  • Preparing provider analysis and key metrics for Leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in math/statistics, economics, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 6 years of total analytics work experience
  • Experience with business intelligence and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView, etc.)
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and analyzing large data sets
  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in the medical device industry or in business analytics consulting including experience in Analytics, Contract Analytics and/or Sales Analytics
  • Understand pricing, discounts and rebates, as well as knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations and integrated delivery networks
