The National Sales Account Representative (Account Management) position within Sonoco’s Global Plastics division is a unique role that will enable you to sell value-based rigid plastic solutions across several technologies, including, thermoforming, injection molding and extrusion.  Our diverse breadth of capabilities and materials will afford you significant options to meet the dynamic needs of the food and beverage marketplace.  We need your packaging sales and business development experience within the food and beverage industry to continue building, managing and innovating our product solutions.  This business has a solid reputation for high quality products and dedicated customer service with new innovations into the marketplace.

Here’s what you need to know.

You will report directly to the Segment Sales Manager for the Food and Beverage group within our Global Plastics team.  You will work directly with our sales, production and engineering groups to further innovate and present new products to market, while using your hunting ability to develop new customers.  This position requires a Bachelors’ degree (kudos if it is a Masters!). Additionally, 5 + years of technical salesexperience in a packaging environment calling on Engineers and Supply Chain personnel is required.  We strive to build our business around our people, so we’d like you to be here for the long haul.
