The Lowe’s Onsite Account Manager will be responsible for managing The Lowe’s hardware account.  She/he will leverage a thorough understanding of both prepaid and retail to effectively manage the card partner account.  This position reports into the Director of Sales Administration and serves as the main day to day contact for the overall Lowe’s partnership.  The Account Manager will work directly with the prepaid category business owners within Lowes and with the BHN Sales Director providing progress updates regarding day to day account activities including but not limited to specific marketing programs, plan-o-gram optimization, sales analysis and growth opportunities.  This position will focus on operational needs and overall support between the Lowe’s team and BHN Account representatives.  The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people in a customer focused environment that requires continual multi-tasking and flexibility.  In addition to supporting the card partner and distribution teams, this position will interface across all departments within Blackhawk and will be based onsite at Lowe’s headquarters in Charlotte, NC.


  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Management, Business related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years working in a business environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven background in project management and client services
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Work well with large, multi-functional teams and in highly complex situations
  • Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
  • Effective working with little direct supervision
  • Ability to travel 10% of work year
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management
  • Payments Industry experience a plus


  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong account relationships that lead to long term partnerships, increased card sales for the account and BH and ultimately account retention
  • Support the Lowes Hardware account on a day to day basis with general account service –
    • Product launches
    • Distribution placement and maintenance
    • Product orders
    • Inventory of Lowes cards in BHN distribution
    • Inventory of 3rd part gift in Lowes retaillocations via BHN DSD program
    • Problem solving
    • Reporting and analytics
    • Liaise with fixture team, marketing team, business development team, merchandising team
  • Timely and strategic follow through on all account requests
  • Gain partner participation in key BHN initiatives and new platform expansions
  • Secure partner participation of paid marketing campaigns
  • Some negotiation of amendments & renewal agreements
  • Participate in preparation of business reviews
