This is an exciting time to join Rave as we have experienced 10 years of double-digit growth and have recently received a significant investment by TCV (a leading private equity firm). Our award winning products are widely recognized as helping to foster quick, relevant, and actionable communication during times of high stress and crisis.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a strong understanding of target buying personas, solution offering, and competitive landscape
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain healthy pipeline
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to multiple buyers within an organization
  • Develop and manage a sales forecast & pipeline in order to exceed annual quotas and goals
  • Actively manage daily responsibilities to develop one's territory such as cold calls, appointments, sales presentations, and proposals while demonstrating excellent time management skills

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of quota carrying software sales experience
  • Proven track record of developing a territory by prospecting, identifying, qualifying and closing new business
  • Experience selling into Municipal Government decisionmakers, Public Safety, Emergency Management or 9-1-1
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and running consultative meetings
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You are a self-starter with executive presence
  • About 20% domestic travel
  • Formal sales training program (Sandler, Miller Heiman, SPIN selling, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, Hubspot and Web Demonstration tools
  • Public speaking/presentation experience
